The Lake County Workforce Development Initiative has been established to address the local community's concerns regarding the availability of skilled labor. It's mission is to raise the appropriate technical skills, employability skills, and educational level of the entry level technical workforce in Lake County. Local educators, industrial and community leaders, as well as students and parents have combined efforts to address this issue.
