Small Business Development Center
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program provides various management assistance to existing and start-up businesses. This is mainly accomplished through one-on-one counseling sessions. These services are offered at no cost to the client.
The program is a cooperative effort of the private sector, the educational community, and federal, state and local governments. It enhances economic development by providing small businesses with management assistance.
SBDC Services Include:
- Starting a business in Ohio
- Licenses and permits, forms of ownership
- Referrals to other agencies
- Business Plans and Financial Projections
- Marketing, Sales and Advertising
- Financing options, referrals to:
- Local Funding Sources
- MicroLoans State Programs
- Small Business Administration Programs
- Business Assistance Resources Available
