The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program provides various management assistance to existing and start-up businesses. This is mainly accomplished through one-on-one counseling sessions. These services are offered at no cost to the client.

The program is a cooperative effort of the private sector, the educational community, and federal, state and local governments. It enhances economic development by providing small businesses with management assistance.

SBDC Services Include:

  • Starting a business in Ohio
    • Licenses and permits, forms of ownership
    • Referrals to other agencies
  • Business Plans and Financial Projections
  • Marketing, Sales and Advertising
  • Financing options, referrals to:
    • Local Funding Sources
    • MicroLoans State Programs
    • Small Business Administration Programs
  • Business Assistance Resources Available
